Honey Roasted Apples

About the Recipe

Enjoy this cozy dessert with some delicious vanilla ice cream!


  • 4 medium sized apples (Ask Paul at 18th Century Purity Farm for his recommendation!)

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • ¼ cup honey

  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt


Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees Farenheit. Remove the core from each apple and cut into 1-inch chunks - toss with lemon juice.

Step 2

Melt the butter in a cast-iron skillet set to medium high heat. Once the butter begins to brown, add the apples and the salt. Continue to cook for 5-7 minutes.

Step 3

Remove the apples from the heat - add the honey. Place the skillet in the oven for 8-10 minutes.

Step 4

Top with some vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
